Questioned Document Examiner

What Does a Questioned Document Examiner Do?

You may or may not have heard the term questioned document examiner, but do you know what this person does? There is another term for a forensic document examiner and their job is to examine any document whose origins are in question. A good example of this would be a last will and testament that gives the family fortune to someone outside of the family.

In this type of situation, a questioned document examiner such as Cina Wong Forgery Expert, will examine the document in question and compare it to one that is known to be true example of the deceased's handwriting. After examining both the will and the known sample the examiner will be able to testify in a court of law as the legitimacy of the document. Because of their skills and reputation, the opinion they give is usually sufficient for the courts to issue a final ruling.
