Forensic Document Analysis

Forensic Document Analysis is Looking for Clues on the Paper

There are numerous ways that forensic document analysis is used as a way to find the clues to a crime on a single sheet of paper. Ink, paper and handwriting have long been considered to be among the best clues to the identity of the person who has committed a crime; they are not the only things that are used in the commission of a crime. Among the other devices used are typewriters, printers and copiers all of which leave telltale marks that can lead the police to the criminal.

Many kidnappers and robbers will use a typewriter or a computer printer to produce their intimidating or ransom notes instead of handwriting them. They are under the mistaken impression that this will make their notes virtually impossible to trace. What they don't realize is that under forensic document analysis such as that performed by Cina Wong Forgery Expert even the smallest identifiable mark can be used in a court of law to obtain a conviction.
