Forensic Document Analysis

Proving Value Using Forensic Document Analysis

Over the years there has been a significant number of extremely valuable documents that have shown up and been sold at auction at exceptionally high prices. None of these documents would have been worth a penny if not for the use of proper forensic document analysis procedures. Just because a document looks the right age and has what looks like a valuable signature, does not make it the real thing nor does it make it valuable.

A full forensic document analysis must be performed to verify the age of the paper, the right type of paper for the document and period and finally to look at the signature or signatures on the document and verify them against known examples from the author or authors. Only after everything has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt by someone like Cina Wong Forgery Expert can it be considered legitimate so that it can be sold at auction.
